Environmental protection is everyone's responsibility. It is imperative to reduce contamination and protect the planet. Let's strive for a greener planet, which will lead to a better quality of life for all.

ISO 14001 Environmental Management System:

The ISO 14001 Environmental Management System is an international standard for environmental management systems developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

This system encompasses all facets of environmental protection, including air, water, land, biodiversity, noise, and radiation, among others.

The purpose of the ISO 14001 environmental management system is to assist organizations in achieving business success while upholding environmental responsibility. By adopting a systematic approach to environmental management, organizations can enhance resource efficiency, minimize waste generation, and reduce their environmental footprint. Furthermore, it enables companies to meet the increasing expectations of stakeholders regarding corporate responsibility, as well as comply with legal and regulatory requirements. The system emphasizes adherence to laws and regulations, pollution prevention, and continuous improvement.

Successful certification demonstrates that the organization has attained an international standard in environmental management. It also provides assurance that the control of various pollutants in the company's processes, products, and activities meets the relevant requirements, thereby contributing to a positive corporate image.

Actively Promoting the Policy of "Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality".

According to the Paris Agreement, achieving the 2°C temperature rise target necessitates global carbon neutrality around 2065-2070. Nations have responded proactively by establishing carbon neutrality targets, with China proposing to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.

China announced to the UN General Assembly on September 22, 2020, its commitment to strive for carbon neutrality by 2060 and to adopt "more robust policies and measures" to peak emissions before 2030. By 2030, China aims to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP by over 65% compared to 2005, increase the proportion of non-fossil energy in primary energy consumption to approximately 25%, enhance forest stock by 6 billion cubic meters compared to 2005, and achieve a total installed capacity of wind and solar power exceeding 1.2 billion kilowatts.

Integrating green environmental protection requirements into the quality priority strategy and the entire business process, and clearly defining these requirements throughout enterprise certification, selection, on-site audits, and performance management, positions carbon emission reduction not only as a challenge but also as an opportunity for businesses.

SETsafe | SETfuse Management Principles and Characteristics of Environment System:

Raw materials and auxiliary materials should be environmentally friendly and low-polluting.

The production line has undergone an environmental impact assessment, obtained the necessary approvals, and passed the environmental protection completion acceptance.

Waste sorting is implemented, with appropriate signage and management boards displayed.

Rainwater and sewage within the plant area are segregated, and the sewage pipe network covers 100% of wastewater collection points.

Production processes generating exhaust gas are equipped with exhaust treatment systems, including sampling and monitoring, ensuring compliance with the specified values of GB16297-1996, the "Comprehensive Emission Standard for Air Pollutants."

Hazardous waste (such as chemically contaminated wipes, gloves, waste hydraulic fluid, and empty chemical containers) is recycled and disposed of by a qualified third-party, with corresponding records maintained.

SETsafe | SETfuse actively implements the national carbon neutrality policy and has established the following carbon neutrality goals: an average annual reduction in energy intensity of no less than 2%, and an average annual reduction in carbon emission intensity of no less than 5%.

Concurrently, the SETsafe | SETfuse Xiamen Industrial Park has constructed a photovoltaic power generation project with a total installed capacity of 800 kWp, which has been successfully connected to the grid. This system generates an average of approximately 1 million kWh per year and reduces CO2 emissions by about 700 tons annually.
